Innovation is a word that is frequently overused, and rarely actually implemented. This is especially true within financial services, and particularly for investment products. When innovation is truly delivered, it creates tectonic advancements within the industry and provides the real, dynamic solutions that investors need.
Leveraging an extensive background acquired through decades leading global platforms at top tier Wall Street firms, Alaia Capital’s founders have set out to create an unconstrained environment within which they can deliver real change.
In order to truly deliver innovation within investment products, we believe the following ingredients are necessary:
- Deep product knowledge – knowing the limits of what can and cannot be done
- Extensive industry network & partnerships – disrupting the system not by creating gaps, but by building a bridge to close them
- No predisposition or biases – creating solutions outside of institutional limitations
- Really understanding clients – deliver what they want, not what is at hand or beneficial. Listen and build, not the other way around
